The Rotary Club of Buckingham is organising its 10th Swimathon on Saturday 25th March 2023 at The Swan Pool in Buckingham. Places are limited so bag your lane now!
Do you have a charity you want to raise money for?
There are many local charities and worthwhile causes in our town and The Rotary Club of Buckingham has invited Buckingham Youth Centre, North Bucks Carers – Young Carers, Moretonville Junior Football Club, Buckingham & Winslow District Citizens Advice Bureau and other charities supported by Rotary to be beneficiaries of Buckingham Swimathon 2023
Swim for a charity of your choice – give them 50% of what you raise!
“Swimming is a great way for people of all ages to get fit and most importantly have fun. I’m encouraging the local community to come along to Buckingham Swan Pool, either as an individual or as a team, and take part in this great fundraiser for local good causes in and around Buckingham and other charities. Even if you can only swim a few lengths – your support really will make a huge difference.” – Craig Gibbons (Olympic Swimmer)
If you would like to swim, please follow the steps on the Registration Form. Teams of up to 6 will swim for 55 minutes in relay. You could ask your friends, family or colleagues to join you or, if not, we are happy to put you in a team. You just need to be able to swim one length or more.
It costs £5 to sign-up and for that you will receive a free drink, light refreshments and a medal for taking part. There are also prizes for most sponsorship raised and most laps completed.
